Top-tier national employment law practice seeks an employment litigation associate for its New Orleans office. The role offers substantive, client-facing litigation work across a range of labor and employment matters for local and national employers.

Responsibilities include legal research and drafting (memoranda, motions, pleadings), managing discovery and investigations, preparing position statements and dispositive motions, attending court conferences, and counseling clients and interacting with governmental agencies and opposing counsel.

  • Juris Doctor and active admission to practice (or eligibility) in Louisiana
  • Experience or strong interest in employment/labor litigation; prior litigation experience preferred
  • Strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills
  • Comfortable with client contact and courtroom-related work
  • Team-oriented, professional communication and time-management skills
