Top-tier employment litigation team in New York is seeking a mid-level associate to work on a broad mix of individual and class/collective matters, including wage-and-hour, discrimination, pre-litigation counseling, administrative charges, and internal investigations.

Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting pleadings and briefs, taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, handling mediations, conducting investigations, and counseling corporate clients. The role offers significant responsibility and direct client contact on complex, cutting‑edge employment matters.

The team emphasizes strong training, mentoring and collaborative case work while expecting associates to manage files independently and contribute to litigation strategy.

  • 3–5 years of litigation experience, preferably with employment/ wage & hour and discrimination matters
  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Membership in the New York State Bar
  • Excellent legal writing, research and oral advocacy skills; deposition and courtroom experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong interpersonal skills
