National employment-defense firm is hiring an Employment Litigation Associate to join its New Orleans office. The role focuses on defending employers in a broad range of employment-related litigation and administrative matters, with a strong emphasis on OSHA work.

Responsibilities include litigating and defending discrimination, retaliation, contract and tort claims, handling agency charges and class/collective matters, representing clients at hearings, mediations and arbitrations, and counseling employers on employment law compliance. This role offers collaboration with a national practice team and opportunities to develop a specialty OSHA practice.

Hybrid working model; supportive, team-oriented environment with mentor-led development and exposure to national client matters.

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • 3+ years litigation experience; employment law experience preferred
  • Admission to the Louisiana bar
  • Experience in federal court litigation required
  • OSHA experience preferred or strong interest in practicing in OSHA
  • Strong written and oral communication, organization, and project-management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively on team-based matters
