Apply in confidence →National employment-defense firm is hiring an Employment Litigation Associate to join its New Orleans office. The role focuses on defending employers in a broad range of employment-related litigation and administrative matters, with a strong emphasis on OSHA work.
Responsibilities include litigating and defending discrimination, retaliation, contract and tort claims, handling agency charges and class/collective matters, representing clients at hearings, mediations and arbitrations, and counseling employers on employment law compliance. This role offers collaboration with a national practice team and opportunities to develop a specialty OSHA practice.
Hybrid working model; supportive, team-oriented environment with mentor-led development and exposure to national client matters.
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- 3+ years litigation experience; employment law experience preferred
- Admission to the Louisiana bar
- Experience in federal court litigation required
- OSHA experience preferred or strong interest in practicing in OSHA
- Strong written and oral communication, organization, and project-management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively on team-based matters
