Interim Legal Consultant — Corporate & M&A

Short-term (typically 3–6 months) interim roles supporting corporate and M&A matters across the United Arab Emirates, with assignments based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai. Opportunities include embedded in-house roles and client-secondments advising on buy-side and sell-side transactions, joint ventures, restructurings and integration workstreams.

Work will involve drafting and negotiating core transaction documents, leading due diligence, coordinating regulatory filings across UAE regimes and advising on Shari’a-compliant and cross-border structuring. Assignments are full time with possibilities for flexible working arrangements depending on the engagement.

• Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience in Corporate/M&A at a top-tier law firm
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating SPAs, asset purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements and JV documentation
• Exposure to cross-border transactions and structuring, including Shari’a-compliant deals
• Familiarity with UAE regulatory frameworks (ADGM/DFSA/DIFC, SCA, CBUAE) and free zone/onshore regimes
• Eligible to practise in the region (practising certificate or equivalent); Arabic language skills and recent in-house experience desirable
