Apply in confidence →Short-term roles for an experienced non-contentious construction lawyer to support projects across the UAE on six‑month (typical) or flexible interim assignments. Opportunities include drafting and negotiating construction, O&M and FM contracts for power, infrastructure, buildings and other major projects, and developing contract template suites for government, developer and contractor clients.
Assignments are full‑time for the assignment duration and may be based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai. You will work alongside senior practice lawyers and in‑house teams on front‑end project documentation and contract negotiation across the region.
- 5–7 years' post‑qualification experience in non‑contentious construction and infrastructure law
- Proven experience drafting and negotiating construction contracts (FIDIC and bespoke) and O&M/FM agreements
- Experience advising on contractor, subcontractor and design professional matters for major projects
- Prior experience at a top‑tier construction/projects practice; recent in‑house experience in energy, transport or infrastructure desirable
- Middle East experience and Arabic language skills preferred
- Valid practising certificate or equivalent permitting practice in the region
