Short-term legal consultant roles supporting fund formation and asset-management matters across the UAE. Assignments are typically three to six months (full-time), based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai, with occasional flexible arrangements.

The work covers the full lifecycle of investment vehicles (conventional and Shari’a-compliant), including drafting and negotiating fund documentation, advising on GP/LP governance and carried interest, coordinating regulatory approvals with UAE regulators, leading fund closings, and supporting secondaries, co-investments and asset-management M&A and reorganisations.

Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience, with strong funds and investment-management background
Proven experience drafting and negotiating fund documentation (LPA, PPM, subscription agreements, side letters, management/advisory agreements)
Experience advising on GP/LP governance, carried‑interest structures and fund closings
Familiarity with UAE regulators (DFSA, ADGM/FSRA, SCA and CBUAE) and regulatory approvals
Ideally recent in-house fund-structuring/formations experience and prior exposure to regional (Middle East/UAE) work; Arabic language skills preferred
Consultant mindset: adaptable, self-starting and comfortable operating on fixed-term engagements; practising certificate (or equivalent) permitting practice in the region preferred
