Join a global legal consulting platform (backed by a leading international law firm) offering self-directed, fee-earning assignments across leveraged finance, private credit and related debt-finance areas. Assignments are typically six months or longer and cover work with investment banks, asset managers, credit managers and other financial services clients across the UK and EMEA.

We are looking for mid-senior finance lawyers (5-8 years' post-qualification experience) with strong leveraged finance and/or private credit credentials who want flexible, high-quality consulting engagements while retaining access to training, knowledge resources and professional support.

Applicants must be able to work in the UK without sponsorship and hold a practising certificate (or equivalent) entitling them to practise in the jurisdiction. The role suits resilient, commercially aware candidates who are comfortable transitioning between clients and delivering a high standard of service on complex debt-finance matters.

5-8 years' post-qualification experience in leveraged finance, private credit or lending
At least two years' experience at a top-tier law firm for leveraged finance matters (recent in-house or secondee experience desirable)
Proven technical knowledge of loan finance, leveraged/acquisition financings and private credit structures
Strong communication, stakeholder-management and project-management skills
Consultant mindset: autonomous, flexible and commercially focused
Practising certificate (or equivalent) permitting legal practice in the UK and right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship)
