Of Counsel, Employment Litigation — Orange County, CA

City-based litigation role for an experienced employment lawyer in Orange County. The position focuses on defending employers in a wide range of employment disputes, handling matters in court, arbitration, mediation and before administrative agencies.

Typical work includes first-chair litigation responsibility, counseling and training employer clients on workplace policies and risk management, and managing wage-and-hour, discrimination, retaliation, contract, non-compete and class/collective matters.

• JD from an accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
• 9+ years of employment litigation experience with substantial first-chair trial/arbitration experience
• Active California bar admission in good standing
• Proven experience supervising associates and paralegals and managing case teams
• Strong written and oral advocacy, project management, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with federal and state agency procedures; class action/PAGA experience preferred
