Six‑month fixed‑term opportunity for a planning associate to join a large international real estate practice in London. The role sits in the planning team and supports complex development work across urban regeneration, infrastructure, life sciences, residential and commercial schemes.

The post involves advising on all aspects of planning law, negotiating and drafting s106 and other development agreements, inputting to transactional due diligence and documentation, and supporting planning consent processes and appeals. Hybrid working is available (up to c.40% remote) and the role is full time (35 hours/week) with some flexibility on hours.

Approximately 3+ years PQE (or equivalent experience) in planning law
Strong academic background (minimum 2:1) with excellent drafting and written communication skills
Practical experience advising on s106 agreements, community infrastructure levy, listed buildings and CPO/highways issues
Experience of planning hearings/public inquiries desirable; exposure to infrastructure/DCO work advantageous
Ability to support transactional real estate teams on planning due diligence and documentation, and to supervise junior colleagues
