Senior Associate – Private Equity M&A (Santa Monica)

An Am Law firm's Private Equity Group is seeking a highly qualified senior associate to join its team in Santa Monica. The role offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of corporate and transactional matters within a collaborative and entrepreneurial atmosphere.

The successful candidate will work both within teams and independently manage components of transactions, handling matters including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged recapitalizations, growth equity and venture capital transactions, exits, and equity compensation.

This is a client-facing position requiring a proactive approach, strong business sense, and the ability to manage internal and external relationships effectively.

• 6+ years of relevant law firm experience
• Experience in corporate and transactional matters, including M&A, leveraged recapitalizations, growth equity/venture capital, exits, and equity compensation
• Ability to work in teams and independently manage transaction components
• Outstanding academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Relevant bar admission (or eligibility to obtain promptly)
• Deal sheet required
