An established global firm is recruiting a Real Estate Finance Associate to join its London real estate finance team. The role sits in a market-leading group advising on a wide range of domestic and cross-border real estate finance and loan transactions.

Typical work includes drafting, negotiating and advising on senior debt, mezzanine and A/B structures, loan-on-loan and back-leverage arrangements across asset classes such as residential, build-to-rent, logistics, hotels, student accommodation, data centres and offices. The role offers client-facing responsibility and opportunities to work on complex, high-profile financings with an international team.

The team operates in an integrated, multi-jurisdictional environment and values commercial judgment, technical excellence and collaborative working.

Qualified lawyer with 4–7 years post-qualification experience in real estate finance or related lending work
Proven experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex finance documentation (senior debt, mezzanine, A/B structures, loan-on-loan)
Strong technical knowledge of real estate finance and syndicated / corporate lending principles
Excellent commercial judgment, client-facing skills and the ability to manage multiple transactions and stakeholders
Experience supervising junior lawyers and coordinating with international teams
Effective communicator, self-starter, detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
