Leading international corporate team seeks a Senior Associate to join its Sydney M&A group. The role offers exposure to complex domestic and cross-border M&A, private equity transactions, joint ventures, W&I insurance matters and related corporate advisory work across a range of sectors including financial services, technology, energy and infrastructure.

The successful lawyer will work on high-profile, often cross-border matters in a collaborative, sector-focused team and will be involved in due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documentation and client-facing project management.

The team promotes professional development, flexible working arrangements and participation in business development and pro bono initiatives.

5+ years' PQE in corporate/M&A at an international or top-tier law firm
Experience on complex M&A and private equity transactions, including cross-border deals
Excellent analytical, drafting and communication skills
Strong commercial judgment and client relationship skills; collaborative team player
