Senior solicitor opportunity within a market-leading financial services team in Sydney. The role sits in a specialist group advising superannuation funds, insurers, investment managers and other financial institutions across transactions and commercial advisory work.

Work will be varied and hands-on, covering M&A-style transactions, product and governance advice, commercial arrangements with service providers, regulatory and disclosure matters, investment and financial advice issues, and related dispute matters. You will collaborate closely with specialists across practice groups and take responsibility for drafting, deal execution and client-facing work.

The team is established, high-performing and collegiate, offering strong exposure to complex, industry-defining matters across Australia and the region.

Experience in financial services or funds-related corporate work, including transactional and advisory matters.
Strong drafting, analytical and legal research skills, with a focus on commercial and regulatory outcomes.
Ability to manage and prioritise work on multiple matters and to work collaboratively within a team and across practices.
Client-service focus and a willingness to participate in business development and industry engagement activities.
Australian work rights (or appropriate visas) to work in Australia.
