Tax Associate — Mexico City

Join the Tax team of a global law firm’s Mexico City office as a mid-level Associate focused on non-contentious tax advisory work. The role covers domestic and international tax planning, corporate restructurings, M&A tax advice, transfer pricing and general tax consulting for domestic and multinational clients.

The position requires close collaboration with local and international colleagues to deliver cross-border tax solutions. This is a hands-on advisory role for candidates who want to develop technical tax expertise and provide practical, commercially minded advice.

• Minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience in tax advisory/consulting (tax controversy/litigation experience not required)
• Law degree and/or accounting qualification (CPA or equivalent) from an accredited institution
• Admission to practice as a lawyer and/or licensure as a public accountant, as applicable
• Strong technical knowledge of domestic tax law and familiarity with international tax principles, treaties and cross-border structuring
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation skills and ability to build relationships at all levels
